Biography of Sumedh Mudgalkar

Sumedh vasudev mudgalkar – “The beat king” was born on 2nd
November 1996 in Pune Maharashtra. His father, Vasudev mudgalkar is very close
to his heart, sumedh shares a very strong and beautiful bond with his mother,
Vasanti mudgalkar.. He is also very close to his brother’s sanket mudgalkar and
samiran mudgalkar.
Sumedh’s prodigious journey begins with his dance debut in a
Marathi reality show “Dance Maharashtra dance” in 2012. This chocolate lover guy
received the title of “chocolate boy” at
this show, also sumedh was one of the
finalists of DMD.
Then he participated in “Dance India dance season 4 in year
2013” and here too our beatking was amongst top 4 finalists. He shared an
amazing, magical bond with master Shruti merchant.. She was really impressed by
sumedh and his magical dance steps and not to mention his charming, sweet personality.
She is one who gave him the title of “beat king” which also he proudly carries
till this very day on his social media handles.
He made TV debut with channel V’s dance based youth centric
show “ dil dosti dance” in year 2014 and played the role of a flirty guy, Raghavendra
pratap singh aka ‘raghav’
He bagged the role of yuvraj susim, the main antagonist in
“chakravartin ashoka smarat” which was telecasted on colours tv in 2015. Sumedh
nailed this role with his astounding acting skills and his performance was
widely appreciated…after this show there was no looking back for sumedh, He performed
in “teen ka tadka” with Siddhartha nigam and vaishanavi in “jhalak dikhlaja
season9”.
He proved himself in his debut Marathi movie “ventilator”
which was released in 2016 where he played ‘karan’, a well-educated and focused
guy. Sumedh kept surprising us and absolutely killed it in his next Marathi
movie “manjha” which was released in 2017. His stunning performance in a dark,
psychotic character vikram aka Vikki which left his fans in awe and he was also
nominated for best actor in Filmfare Marathi awards 2018
He also played role of salil in the Marathi movie “bucket
list” which was released in 2018 starring madhuri dixit. His breath taking
acting skills were widely appreciated by madhuri ji. In a short while he
appeared in various music albums…
Ah… now comes the biggest milestone in sumedh’s lifewhich
made sumedh a house hold name with swastika production’s radhakrishna which
first aired on 1st oct 2018. And he left no stones unturned to blend
himself in character of divine Krishna and it landed him on unexpected heights
while showcasing his talent with natural, aesthetic amazing acting skills and
craft.
A lesser known fact related to radhakrishna’s casting is
this that actually.. sumedh was originally look tested for a negative role, but
his beautiful hazel eyes gifted him the role of Krishna and true to his expectations, the ‘expression
king’ killed us with his expressions and voice modulation in every role he
played in radhakrishna especially gopadevi and paundark.
This show brought him well-deserved awards like:-

screen couple’ which was of course..also shared by the sweetest mallika singh

Gold awards 2019 – for being best actor in lead role

His biggest achievement yet is : Asian academy
creative awards : for being ‘best actor in lead role representing INDIA in 2019’

Nominated for ITA 2021 – best actor ( popular) category

7th international iconc awards 2021`
for i) iconic best Jodi award along with
mallika singh and ii) versatile actor in male category
This charming and handsome 25 year old
actor was ranked 6th in times of India’s “top 20 most desirable men
of Maharashtra” in 2020
He never fails to entertain and inspire his
sumedhians through his YouTube channel and insta handle.
True to his name he is brilliant,
intelligent and always dedicated to his work. His versatility astonishes us
each and every day. With being an actor
and dancer he is also a guitar player, flute player, a skilled poet… he is also
an adorable child and animal lover. Sumedh is a perfect son, a caring friend, a
supporting co-star.
His thoughts reflects his inner wit and
